Manifesto

Software should fit the operation. Not the other way round.

The companies we work with run on their own way of working: pricing rules, approvals and client expectations that took years to get right. Then they are asked to bend all of it to fit a generic tool.

The paradox.

Teams that sell precision every day, a charter quote, a magazine people return to, a legal opinion, often run their own operations on spreadsheets, copy-paste and tools that stop halfway through the workflow.

Off-the-shelf software is excellent at the common case. The expensive part of a business is rarely the common case: it lives in the rules, the exceptions and the handoffs between teams.

We exist for that gap. We build the missing layer that connects the systems you already have to the way your team actually works, and we keep it running.

We are not an AI agency, a generic dev shop, a design studio sold by the day or a SaaS reseller. Design, code, AI and automation are how we work. What we deliver is a workflow that works better.

What we refuse.

  • Rip-and-replace.Your CRM, inbox and documents stay where they are. We build the layer that connects them, not a new place to migrate to.
  • Building what already exists. Before proposing a custom build, we look at the tools, APIs and open source already available. If an existing product or a thin integration solves the problem, that is what we recommend.
  • Selling days. You buy a workflow that works better, not a number of hours. Speed is how we deliver, not how we price.
  • Capturing your data.Your systems remain the source of truth. We only keep what the workflow needs to run.
  • AI for its own sake.A model goes into the system only when it makes the workflow faster, safer or more accurate.
  • Invented maintenance. If a system no longer needs us after launch, we hand it over cleanly instead of selling a subscription nobody needs.

What we stand for.

Your data is yours.

Client data, documents, users and business rules belong to the client, and the contract says so. We keep only our reusable, generic building blocks.

We live alongside your stack.

Pipedrive, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, internal APIs: we connect to what is already there, through official connections and the minimum access each integration needs.

Prove it before you scale it.

Prototype, test with real users, measure, then build. That is how a media group validated its app with 200+ beta readers, and how a live site tested new modules on half of its readers before keeping the ones that worked.

One accountable owner.

After launch, someone keeps the integrations, jobs and rules working, and you can see what was monitored, fixed and shipped.

Specific beats generic.

We start from one expensive, measurable workflow, not from a list of capabilities.

People decide.

Systems prepare, check and draft. Your team keeps the judgment calls.

Questions.

What does Noctua Software build?

Custom workflow software and AI systems: internal tools, client portals, proposal and quotation tools, integrations and automations, for operations too specific for off-the-shelf SaaS.

Do we have to replace our current tools?

No. Your CRM, email and documents remain the sources of truth. We build the layer that connects them and runs the business rules between them.

Who owns the data and the code?

You own your data, documents, users and business rules. Client-specific logic can be separated contractually; Noctua keeps its reusable, generic building blocks.

How do you access our systems?

Through official connections such as OAuth, approved by your admin, with the minimum permissions each integration needs. We never ask for your team's passwords.

Where does the system run?

On infrastructure we operate by default, in a hybrid setup, or entirely in your own cloud when security, IT policy or data residency require it.

How does a project start?

With a workflow audit: we map the process, the systems around it and where time and margin are lost, then define the system to build.

What happens after launch?

Either a clean handover, or Noctua keeps operating the system: integrations, monitoring, fixes and a reserved capacity to keep improving it every month.

Which industries do you work with?

Business aviation and media, as well as law firms and beauty brands. The case studies show the work.
